On April 6th, the band FireWing will release their newest single, the second from the album Resurrection, which will be released by the legendary Massacre Records. The song “Far in Time” hits digital streaming platforms and receives a lyric video. The track has an abstract lyrical theme that relates to reality.
Guitarist Caio Kehyayan comments on the concept: “The song talks about a world in darkness. People went into an internal battle, as the dragon Vishap is trying to suck the flame from their lives, to become even more powerful ”. The narrative tells that giving up this battle leads to death, and that even with fear, there is still hope.

The fanciful concept, however, is related to reality, as it can refer to “people who get lost inside their own head, because of depression. It is about this internal battle of wanting to kill yourself, having suicidal thoughts. Not feeling enough ”, he adds.
Finally, the message is to overcome difficulties and move forward: “If you can’t win life’s battles, you won’t be able to go far in time to eternalize, to leave a legacy, a story. How far can you go? ”, Challenges the guitarist, leaving the closure due to the listener’s interpretation.
The album Resurrection hits stores on April 23. The first single from the work was “Tales of Ember & amp; Vishap: The Meaning of Life (Extended Version)”, track that also won a lyric video.

The cover of Resurrection was developed by Junki Sakuraba. The disc will feature heavy guests: Haydée Irizarry (Aversed, Carnivora), Bill Hudson (NorthTale) and Jenn Sakura, among others.
Firewing’s proposal, which brings together musicians trained at the renowned Berklee College of Music, is to bring new airs to symphonic metal, by combining the technique of heavy metal with melodic orchestrations. FireWing is formed by Airton Araujo (vocals), Chris Dovas (drums), Peter de Reyna (bass), Bruno Oliveira (guitar and orchestrations) and Caio Kehyayan.
